North Pole

My dark eyes match the sky,

it's winter time in Canada,

there's gorgeous flashes like the sight,

I've seen on your face tonight.

Those auroras will likely fall,

down from the heavens to dance with us.

They will sing the tunes of the North Pole,

they will shatter time, melt the ice,

caress the icebergs of the oceans,

frozen lands that could entice,

the northern lights set us in motion.

You move the hands with the wind,

your flesh brightly blossoms soon,

under the shine of the deep night,

the space can see your spirit bloom.

Vividly, you raise your head,

with eyes glued to the deep end,

of space and time, there's no dimension,

to hold a place for our fiery tension,

it's cold out there, but you can't feel,

the rising stars; the spotlight steal.

You're one with them, I see no difference,

you're made of stars, you're worth the patience,

to cross the seas, and all the rush,

to see you here; this time's enough.

Recalling You

I set off to find the dreams,

thinking where have I seen you before.

I'm bad with faces, not good with names.

But I recall your look ashore,

where you and I would play the games,

of love and lust, we had no trust,

in others no,

but somehow the waves would wash the doubt,

of the unknown that lied within,

it was just you and me, no breathing.

Breathless was I, on the sands,

we locked in hearts, and held hands,

the kind of hold that nothing hinders,

a hold of kindly interlocking fingers,

where passion flows,

where love grows,

along the night that's never ending,

throughout the sunlight that it's pretending,

to travels skies and change the colors,

from blue to red, across the harbors,

it's casting light, to leave no shadows.

The winds are silent, there's no movement,

you play with my hair, just for amusement,

the nightly darkness slowly numbs,

the vibrant looks, what they become,

though the gloom is set in place,

I can't forget that beautiful face.
